PAlease can someone help me to understand?

I am sure you have heard the saying "friends don't let friends drive drunk",  you said yourself "I did that hun but she does not care one bit, I washed my hands of her." If she was your "FRIEND" you would never have had to make that statement.

Some people like to have certain people in their lives to make "them" feel bigger than they are, I think that was the basis for that relationship. In times of old we had real excuses for not being in touch with others. She didn't call you because she didn't want to. If you want to do something no matter what it is you will find a way to do it. If she wanted to call you I am sure she have a cell phone in her pocket or purse, when she was home she could have called you from the home phone. You have wasted enough time trying to fix something that has been broken and gotten rusty. If it was fixable it would have changed the day you went to visit your parents grave.  I would have ended that relationship then if she could not be there for me then, that is an emotional time for anyone. SHE IS/WAS NOT YOUR FRIEND.

I hear what you're saying Max, it's just stinks that it took me soooooo long to realize that  ...well I will NEVER allow her to look/talk down to me again!!!!! over the years I have tried and tried with her but she is just sooo cold hearted....I remember back a few years she said that she and I needed to sit down 1 day and have a heart to heart talk..in my last email to her I reminded her saying that and went on to say  DONT YOU NEED A HEART TO DO THAT???....oh well i'm done with her now so I cant let myself dwell on something that NEVER was in the first place I guess.....thank you so much for your comment you really helped to open up my eyes
