What do you like about bright sunshine during the coldness of winter?

It helps to melt snow, slush, and ice away from the streets and sidewalks. Also, its nice when the sun melts ice away from the car's windows and windshield wiper blades.

It has been near 90° the past few days here and it does not feel like it is winter.  I like the warm weather but it would be nice to have some rain.  It is going to be a HOT summer.

I love it.  If I am inside, I can imagine it is nice and warm outside.  It melts the tiny bit of snow that is on the ground.

Sunshine brightens my soul. Especially at this time of year. We have had a really mild winter this year and I find it a huge blessing!!
