you use an eclectic toothbrush or a manual one?
« on: December 31, 2011, 01:26:16 pm »
I used to use a manual but my teeth were just collecting too much plague so I had to switch to an eclectic.  I use one of those Colgate spin toothbrushes but the dentist office advertises a sonicare.  I asked my dentist if it matters what toothbrush is better and she told me it doesn’t matter.  She said it was how you brush not what you are brushing with.  Someone should tell the advertisers.

Both are used to accomplish the same thing.

I used to use the "professional" electric toothbrushes, until I was bored of it and my teeth started collecting plague and turning yellow. Now I use a manual one, and my teeth are much whiter. Also, manual toothbrushes take less time, because the bristles are about 3 times are large as the electric toothbrush's.  ;D

I use a manual toothbrush. I used to have an electric one when I was a kid, but I prefer manual now.

Manual. I've never fancied electrical or battery powered toothbrushes.

Both.  Every now and then I will use my electric one but 99% of the time I use the manual.
