What are you buying your "LOVE" for Valentines day?
« on: December 29, 2011, 03:19:18 am »
I struggle each year with finding a unique valentines day gift.  It is hard to think of new things.  I get Christmas done and then 3 weeks later it is his birthday and then .... less than a month comes valentines day!

I know it is a cliche' but i always get my hubby his favorite candy. It is something he really enjoys and something I know he likes. So why not?

Might be silly, but I do like to do something for my guy the week after V-day.  The 14th is totally about the girl :)  At least that's how I was raised.
I like to get him a new shirt (nicer style) and take him to dinner to his favorite place (my taste varies, so he tries something new for me on V-day).

We usually just have a date night of dinner and a movie. I hope it will work to keep up the tradition again this year. Oh, and I make brownies because it's my husband's favorite and it's easy! Perfect combination.
