Every year is different.  Some years I take the tree down the day after and some years I keep the tree up til January. It all depends on
my mood and how the Christmas was.  This year it came down the day after this year.

I didn't put a tree up this Christmas because there was no one home during the holidays. When I do put a tree up, I usually take it down the first weekend after Christmas. Nothing special about the date, just a matter of convenience.

I know people whom just change the oranments...like taking down the Christmas origins and adding lots of UK basketball things, a theme to be carried thru the winter.

Usually a week after Christmas, New Year's time.  I like to have it up, it takes so much effort to get all the decorations out so i like to enjoy them as long as possible.  I'll start putting other decorations away to free up some space though.

We already took our christmas tree down two days ago to make room for my grand daughter's little kitchenette.

I usually take mine down within a couple of days after Christmas but my Mom has been in the hospital and I have been too busy so maybe I will get to it this weekend.

When do you take down your Christmas Tree? I leave mine up til after the 1st of the year because of the rumored bad luck. I know it is only a old wives tale, but why take any chances? So Whats your story?
There is a old saying take the tree down after the new year for luck, But if luck going to come it will come. It doesnt matter when you take it down.

Mine is out till Jan 7, after Kings Day Mexican celebration. Love Christmas, took me some time to put up all those lights, so I want to enjoy them for a long time.
