I am more interested in helping less fortunate animals than people. I just wish at this moment I had the resourses to do what I wish to do.

I donate money or food throughout the year, but especially at this time of year.  I can't afford to donate a lot, but I figure that every little bit helps.

I used to when I used to work I used to sponser a little girl from columbia and send money to "Feed The Children".  But not now I can't work because of my disabilities and need help myself most days.  But I donate my outgrown clothes and things like that, the few things I can do.

Yes,I've just started donating for the animals & some local homeless centers needing donations.I don't really like donating for humans esp.if it's some faraway country.I would if I had enough money but I can barely afford to support me & my 2 cats.Splat's annual cost me over $200.00+:o last month &Shadow is due the end of this month!!!!I can only donate the lesser amount asked for. I've donated to Feed America b/c it's local as well. Thanks to FC, & the increase in my income from the gov.I can give a little but what I fear is if the idiot Congress would make decision on whether or not to extend the tax cuts,we'll be screwed &uncle sam will be taking out that rise we just got this year.If Obama fails b/c of the morons that he has to deal with,we the people will be paying for it! And thus will end my ability to donate & save animals!:crybaby2: :crybaby2::crybaby2::BangHead::BangHead::BangHead:

I do donate a portion of my paycheck to certain charities I feel strongly about and volunteer periodically at the local food bank throughout the year, but I stopped giving money to people out in the street as I don't know what they do with this.

Yes, I donate locally and some times help to feed the homeless people at different locations setup around town.
Sometimes I see people standing at the edge of the interstate holding a sign saying "I will work for food". Do you think
if they wanted to hand out flyers or something like that that people will take the flyers from them. I once thought about
coming up with things that will allow homeless people to make money. Not necessairly cash but in voucher or some kind
credit toward food and shelter or something. Just an idea I guess.

Yes, I know the working class always help others, because we are several checks away from needing help.   To make somebody smile for the Holidays it is worth helping.  I like to think that somebody will when I need it

I try to help the less fortunate when I can. When Im in chicago it's easy to spot the less fortubate from the people who are just trying to round up liqour money. A truly hungry or homeless person will accept what they can get  even if you are just offering to provide a meal to them. There was this one guy my friend tried to give change to then he start asking if she had a dollar. Like she just gave the guy about a dollar worth of change.

I love to give to others.  This Christmas our small group from church adopted a family to help buy gifts for Christmas.  It is a single mom with 2 kids.  They asked for basics: coat, hat, gloves, clothes, pj's.  We also added in some fun toys and stuff to make their Christmas brighter.  We also give to our church to help build an expansion to the building.  It's great to pay it forward.
