When we have separation of church and state it was never meant for thae state to take away the church. But t it was created in the constitution by ouforefathers to keep the state out of the church. Now it is totally being misconstrued, so people can live immoral. But people have a choice, and everyone will answer for it one day

So you know what these men MEANT when they crafted the constitution?
The fact that they declared Congress make no law... and such means nothing because YOU know what they meant? Please.

There really is no reason besides that there are too many close-minded individuals controlling the government . I'm more concerned that in this country it's legal for 12  year olds and first cousins to get married but there is  something wrong with two consenting non-related adults to get married simply because they are the same sex.

Because of my religious views, I am against gay marriage. But I could care less what people want to do with THEIR lives. Like you said there is already a separation between Church and State so there is no reason not to allow gay couples to get married. Where I live that is no longer an issue but there are still many places where they are discriminated. I don't think its a big deal like many people make it out to be. A few gay marriages will be approved...so what? Most people are in favor of it so I guess we will just have to give it some more time. Once again, I don't belief in it but I am not against it. It should be a right to choose.
