My middle name is Francis, which is my mother's grandfather's name, I think.  I know it came from someone on her side of the family.

Mine is Kay. If I had been born a month and a half sooner my first name would have been different.

My middle name is Kay too. So is my mom's. I've always kind of liked Kay for a first name though.

Mine is Sharon.  I don't know where it came from.  I guess they just thought it went with my first name.  And my last name was very short so it all sounded okay together.

My Middle name is Laney.  My mom got it and my first name from a soap and now my daughter has my middle name.  Does anyone have any weird peeves about names.  One of mine, all through childhood I wanted my sons initals and his fathers to be the same and mine and my daughters to be the same.  the other one I dont like oridnary or common names if it is a common name I want an unusual spelling for it.
