BCS Championship - should it be LSU - Alabama?

They are probably the best two teams but it seems like it will be a boring game - anyone have differing opinions?

Sadly, nothing is going to happen to change Dullapalooza II. It just shows that the BCS is full of garbage saying the regular season is a playoff, but only Alabama and possibly LSU get a mulligan. It's time for a playoff and most sane people know that. But we're like the 99% and the big six conferences are the 1%. Nothing is changing anytime soon. Good thing college basketball doesn't operate that way...Butler would've never even gotten to play.

The BCS is a bunch of crap.It's an embarrassment and has problems and disputes every year. College football needs a playoff system NOW!!

How's this for a playoff system. Next week the top 8 teams could play, the final four could play on new year's and the championship game a week later. They could even use the bowl games on new year's day for the payoffs. At least we would get a deserving winner and teams like Boise State and Houston could show how good they really are.

Don't like the BCS! LSU and Bama will probably happen, Because they powers that be think the SEC is the only conference
that matters! I would like to See LSU and Oklahoma State!

While I agree with those that prefer some sort of playoff system, that doesn't seem inevitable at this point in time.  So, Yes it should be Alabama-LSU.  I believe those are the two best teams but I bet the "general public" would hope for a second team to play Alabama.  I think believe become disinterested if the same elite teams are always playing in the important bowl games.

I'm hoping for Oklahoma State and LSU.  Really would like to see some sort of playoff instead.

Honestly I think they need to come up with a better system to award the championship too.  The current system is just too far bwoke and beyond any hope of repair.  Back to the drawing board coaches.

Outside of the NC title game and Rose bowl this year's BCS bowls are mostly a joke. They should just take the top 10 and put them in BCS bowls and forget about all of this Conference qualifiers and such. Michigan vs Virginia tech in a BCS bowl? Are you kdding?

I agree with you 100%, this would have been a great year to start a playoff system with the best 6-8 regardless of conference.

I would like to see some kind of playoff system but I don't know exactly how it could be set up.
