Christmas Tree Lighting
« on: November 26, 2011, 11:35:11 am »
Last year in Portland Oregon, they interrupted an attempt by a terroist to blow people up on the square here while families were attending the Christmas Tree Lighting. We are very gratefull. This year security was of course ever present, and Thank God no incidentces.

I just wish the terroist would realize that their mentors or older people Mohamed this Mohamed that. Why don't these young brainwashed kids stop and think?  "Well If I am to blow myself and innocent infadels up, how come you don't personally show me how to do it first!

I think then we would eliminate the brainwashers for this type of mentality.

There goes organized religion - in one fell swoop.
One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.

It never was the birthday of 'jesus' so, there's no keeping 'christ' in a false date of birth which was a co-opting of prior pagan celebrations xtians endeavered to obscure.  Sorry if the facts disturb a baseless belief but, there is ample evidence available to support those facts.

http://www.simpletoremember.com/vitals/Christmas_TheRealStory.htm

From that link:
"In the 4th century CE, Christianity imported the Saturnalia festival hoping to take the pagan masses in with it.  Christian leaders succeeded in converting to Christianity large numbers of pagans by promising them that they could continue to celebrate the Saturnalia as Christians.

The problem was that there was nothing intrinsically Christian about Saturnalia. To remedy this, these Christian leaders named Saturnalia’s concluding day, December 25th, to be Jesus’ birthday."
