My birthday is on December 4.  Usually we try to decorate the weekend of my birthday, but since I now work weekends, I will be putting up my Christmas tree today and will be decorating it.  I don't think we are going to be doing a lot of decorations, but I have my holiday Scentsy warmers out which help fill the house with Christmas scents.

My kids and I will also be making multiple Christmas cards to send to the soldiers.  I come from a large military family and during the first desert storm I had to go through a Christmas and Birthday without my dad.  That is the worst, and I know that we sent a bunch of stuff to him that year, but I also know that he shared with the guys who didn't get anything.

I never decorate outside, but put up a ferw things inside.  My tree is a Kincaid ceramic tree with houses to match set around the tree.  I also have a Disney Christmas village and another Christmas village.  I have some things to go on windows.

I dont decorate big time. Maybe a 1 foot tree. This year just an Angel for my car. In florida people decorated the mail boxes. Some looked pretty cool and they had the license plate of the state theuy moved from on it.

My step daughter and I will decorate next weekend.  With my daughter having a new baby it has pushed things back but usually we decorate the house the weekend after Thanksgiving.

I'm just starting to pull my decorations out of storage.  I'll probably start putting some up this weekend.  Getting my cookie recipes out and compiling this year's ingredients list.  Will probably get the tree in a couple weeks.  It's finally staying cold around here (30's) - so it's starting to feel like winter.  Won't be long before I break out the hot chocolate!   ;D
