I've been an NBA fan since I was a kid so I was excited to hear that it's over. I understand that some people aren't fans or were disappointed by the lockout, but it's a bit pretentious to say that the majority of fans don't care. The NBA provides an outlet of entertainment & activity for many kids around the world, which keeps them out of trouble. The NBA also generates revenue for city as well as gives plenty of jobs. This is a good thing for most people.

the teams should care about the fans instead of money. we paid to see it give us that.. i dont care its stupid and self centered for them that they go on a rough patch for couple of millions of dollars where we us normal folks work for like 9 to 5 jobs and raise kids plus if you wanna relax sometimes us men want to watch sports like basketball or any kind of sport there is...

i think the teams in there specific group are selfish.. it shows that they care about money then passion of the game.. what fools it gives me less respect to the players who walk out for the FANS. it gives disrespect !!!!

NBA lockout my butt !!!!

They were on the right track when they got rid of Hockey all together. Then they brought it back for some reason. I think basketball should be next on the chopping block.

I love my city and my cleveland cavs.  I will go to the games, as we are a small market, have amazing fans and I feel for the city.  Therefore, I care : )

I am very happy the strike is over, big Sacramento Kings fan and I also got interested in the NFL again cause of the nba strike, what a christmas present if the strike ends, fantasy football for too many years killed my interest in the NFL

I care a little, only from the perspective of the fans who miss watching it. But a lot of these players in my opinion make too much money.

It is good entertainment, and most players only make $1 million or so a year for a couple of years, which is a lot of money to most of us, but very few people make it all the way to the NBA

While I agree that a "certain number of players are overpaid", it's no different than our celebrities getting paid to "act different'. Fact is there are a number of jobs out there that in all reality shouldn't get paid that much but they do, such as real estate agents, sports agents, bankers. You should be looking to them, and asking yourself why they get paid so much to do jobs so simple.

Im happy the NBA is back, i missed my Portland Trail Blazers. We like to go to the games to those expensive boxes that my fiances parents buy. The ones with the bars and the unlimited amount of food. Those are the best.

I only care about the little people who have been affected by this lockout.  Those who make a living by servicing those who can afford to go to the games.  I could care less about the millions the cry-baby players and owners have lost but I do care for the people whose livelyhood depends on these overgrown babies playing.
Have a wonderful day!

I agree with your statement. the people working in the service field are the only ones that mattered.. the others (players and owners -couldnt care less)
