Phone Calls from surveys
« on: January 07, 2009, 06:58:48 pm »
Do you get a lot of phone calls about the surveys you took? What can you do if you get them?

That hasn't happened to me but I'm pretty sure if you ask them to stop calling, they will.

I have only been called because of surveys if I have specifically authorized them to do so. (Usually if they want to do a follow up based on your answers within a survey) - hope that makes sense.

FC is the best

If you check my banner, I have earned all that since April, and I think I've only done one paid offer (for Gevalia I think).

FC is legit and the highest paying out of all the sites I frequent. You'll like it here :)

I get a lot of spam calls, and they are VERY persistent!  I've had many problems with companys calling even after I told them not to call again.  Especially one for the past 3 1/2 months, they call at least 8-10 times a day, it's annoying, but after a bit you recognize the number and just ignore it. lol

I actually signed up for an internet phone number (2.99/mo for a yahoo number).  It's great- you get voicemails delivered to your email and can answer the ones that are necessary.  Plus, if you decide you want to actually use the number (I DO!) it's super easy and so cheap.  I didn't want to use my cell minutes for persistent telemarketers.  :)

Have you spoken to whomever you're speaking to's supervisor?  Usually when you get some sort of office manager on the phone, they can deal with it much better.  A lot of times the workers just get a list of phone numbers for the day.

I've not gotten any Phone calls from filling out surveys yet!  And I was nervous about that too.

Ya I've spoken to supervisors, and they all like to argue, they're like well you signed up for us to call you so we're calling you.  I proceed to tell them I want to be taken off of their list and do not call me again, and they just keep going on with their sales pitch, or arguing with me.  So  I let them know I would be reporting them to our attourneys general if they called me again.  Doesn't stop them.

I get phone calls offering me money for surveys.. I have acutally made alot of money doing it. Just MAKE sure you dont give any bank account numbers etc.. And if they expect you to purchase something its not usually legit. Survey sites pay millions ayear to get our input, so it is truly somehing that is out there that ppl do do. If you dont want them calling you.. CAll them, or ask them to not do it.. Usually they are very nice
