I'm getting eager to start my baking!  :)  What are all of your favorites?

I love to bake too.  I usually make some sort of cookie or pie, some of my favorites being apple cheesecake or mint chocolate chip cookies.  Can't wait either!  :)

not sure what i'll be making this year.
i made glass candy last year and that worked
out nicely for gifts. i'm a big fan of oreo stuff
too and thought about trying some oreo fudge
or something similar.

chocolate covered pretzels are always an easy one!
[ we all have a place in history. mine is in the clouds. ]

I used to make a lot of peanut brittle to give away at Christmas.  For some years, I made a lot of different cookies for the family until I realized I was the one who was eating most of them.  So, I quit.

My favorite things to bake for the holidays is anything Im in the mood for at that time.  It depends on what I'm serving for the holidays to come up with the perfect dessert to bake. If the meal was on the heavier side I would serve a light dessert.   If the meal is lighter I'd serve a more and rich indugent dessert. :D

I know what you mean.  Surprisingly this is the one time of the year that I can withhold myself and not eat all that I bake.

I'm doing most of the cooking this year since my elderly parents are not able to do much anymore.  I will be cooking for 11 or 12 people.  I'm going to start tomorrow.  I have recruited help with desserts and I am only making one custard pie ( yuck ... my hubby's choice)  So all the rest of my day will be spent cooking instead of baking .... but Christmas is a different story!!!

Peanut butter fudge, prailine pecans and cheese *bleep* are my most requested treats to make.
Have a wonderful day!

When I was a girl in the 60's, my mom had a spritzer baking tool that they don't have anymore. The old-fashioned things are left in the past.
Spritzer cookies were the best, the green trees. We had the red colored ones too with a candy cherry in the middle. Nothing lasts forever; thank God for memories!
I saw the "modernized spritzer" a couple years ago; it doesn't work well.

I have already started some. We put up our tree last night, and I already ruined some cookies..haha. So then I made some brownies to make up for it.
