If you could travel on a time machine

would you want to travel forward to the future or back to the past?

I think I would rather travel back to the past.  I guess I am not very adventurous.  If I travel into the past, I hope I would know what to expect.  If I travel into the future, who knows what is going to happen.

I'd travel to the past to a certain event that I would go back and change.

to be honest, i wouldn't want to travel back or forward time. I know human nature will eventually catch up with me and make me do something i'll regret.

Well, I would first start with going into the past to change some things. Then I would go into the future to see whats going on. I think that time travel would be awesome.
