correction: do you get a lot of stares in publc?

Sometimes. I think though mostly people are starring at my son because he is so cute! lol  :binkybaby:
I notice though if I go to the store by myself, I do get some stares, but nothing out of the ordinary. I have always gotten attention, maybe it's my blonde hair (because blondes do have more fun!!)  ;D HaHa! Or maybe it is because I am so petite. I am only 4ft 9 inches and I am almost 32 years old, so you can imagine the stares I get. I still get the "You're so cute!" phrase....lol.  :P

You and I have a lot in common! Except I have one child and I still get the, "Why did you have a baby, you're so young yourself, aren't you suppose to be in school?" Believe me I have actually had someone say that to me!!  :-[

You never said why people stare at you in public?  What are you doing to cause them to stare.  You forgot to say why and why did you leave that part out?  People can stare at you for different reasons, but if you dress and look like a freak from a horror movie, then you should except it and move on.

People are probably not staring at you - they are probably staring through you.  I used to be self-conscious, but I learned as I got older (I read this somewhere) that you would be surprised at the number of people who really are NOT looking at you.  Most people are self-absorbed and don't really pay attention to other people.  I do feel for the people who are disabled or disfigured - there are many stupid adults who feel they must stare at someone who is different.  I don't count children.  Children have either not learned to be respectful or are still young enough to be spontaneous.

I explained that I didn't know why and I dress causal and conservative all the time.
