Parking lot stop signs

I always stop at the stop signs in parking lots.  It's just not worth the risk of maybe hitting someone that is coming out of a store.

Legally, you don't have to stop.  Government cannot legally regulate traffic on private property.  Police can only come to private property to say, ticket a car parked in a handicapped spot if there was a call from the persons responsible for running to lot.

It is a good idea to be aware of the stop signs.  They are there for good reason.

Like yourself most of the time, yes I stop when there are cars approaching. When there aren’t any, it’s a quick rolling stop while driving slowly @ 5 mph.
