Which room in your house is the warmest?
« on: November 17, 2011, 09:34:32 am »
The warmest one in my house (when the furnace is on) happens to be my bedroom.  For some reason, there are two vents.  It pushes the warm air out into the hallway, where my thermostat is located.  I turn my heat way down at night and it never kicks in at night.  My coolest room is my livingroom as it is large and has lots of windows.

The bathroom. There is a wall heater that we turn on when we take a shower.

My bedroom is the warmest.  It's nice in the winter, but in the summer it's rough.  Considering I live in Florida, I wish that it wasn't.

The back of my apartment is the warmest, there's more radiators back there. The front of my apartment is coolest because there's less radiators.

The room right where the fireplace is. The living room and the Kitchen. Also if you go upstairs it seems to often be pretty warm up there, since heat rises and the chimney goes right up.

It's the room I'm in right now on the computer.  It's a third bedroom turned into a den with large screen tv, surround sound, computer, etc... .  All these appliances keep it warm, even if they are not being used, and it's the farthest room from our heatpump blower.  It's nice in the winter, but crazy in the summer.

My room is also the warmest. Out tv gets soon hot!!! We actually can use that as a heater for our room.
As for the coldest room in the house... Most definitely our living room also... If we sit in the living room.. We need to lite a fire in the fall and winter.

I'm using space heaters right now so the warmest room is the one I'm in at the time since I have that heater on.  This changes if I run the dryer or use the oven of course.
