BANNER URLS
« on: November 17, 2011, 04:57:54 am »
Hi...I tried to put the banner url in my browser, and when i click on it a blocker pops up and said that IE is distorting the page because of security risks , because of cross-scripting.   How do i get this done?  I really want to post FC's banner on my website, but I'm stuck at this point.   I see them on other websites so I know that this can be done..PLEASE HELP

Thank you

What URL are you having problems with?

You really need to hear from someone who has their own website and is trying to do what you are doing.

I don't have any problems with the banners urls or the referral url when I use them for advertising on other sites.  Do not have my own site, but I don't understand why they wouldn't work on your site but not be a problem on a ordinary PTC.

You mentioned you have problems using IE; do you also have the same problem if you use a different browser (ie Firefox; Chrome etc).  Each browser has it's own security procedures.
Do you also have a regular security progam (ie Norton, McAfee etc)?  Does your security program offer any comments about the URL that you are using?

thanks for offering to help....i copy and paste the banner url and put it in my browser(in an effort to load on its own page, so i can save it in my files to upload to my website)nbut thats when it gives me the dropdown message.    i've used other banner urls from other sites and it always has worked perfectly.

It sounds like your problem my be coming from trying to use the realtime banner that shows earnings and it can't be self hosted. Just copy the code from your promotional materials page and paste it into your web page code.

This kind of problem is going to be nearly impossible to solve in a forum that doesn't allow links, but if you want to contact oldbuddy70 on Skype I can help you.
