Do you go downtown or suburbs to shop?

It is always such a pain to pay for parking (find parking) downtown, I just go to the mall where parking is free and easy to find. Where do you go?

Heck no.  I avoid downtown as much as possible.  I really have no reason to ever go into the city.  I go about once a year for a huge street festival that I love other than that I never go there especially to shop because there aren't any good places to shop.  I have a mall five minutes from my house and I hardly ever go there either.  When I do shop it's in my area in the suburbs.

When you go to the mall or downtown, do you just go to look and see what there is and then just buy it on the internet or buy it there?

I am blessed with being able to do both!  I live in the suburbs near one of the largest shopping areas in the state...but there are too many shops that you can find anywhere and it is hard to find unique items.  I also live near an outlet mall where I can find inexpensively priced items.  I work downtown and prefer toshop down there because there are almost always cool, new and unique items.  Even the street vendors come up with one of a kind items.  Because of the numerous places to eat, the food is better and more competitively priced.

I do most of my shopping in the suburbs and I can run in and run out. I live in a fairly heavily populated area and there are 3 malls within a 30 min drive and almost any box store you could want.

Of course there is is always the internet. But look out for those shipping fees

Luckily I live close to down town and can walk to do my shopping. No hassles with parking and I shy away from malls - too many people and shops!
