What do you think would happen to our world if some one knocked out all the satelites in the sky?

I have thought about this some.  I think there would be more than a little insanity around the US until they managed to get up replacement satellites (I know they have rapid contingencies for just such a thing as far as in the case of the Military and certain weather systems but I don't know about the rest).  While it might annoy me a little it would also be somewhat adventurous if it could last more than a few weeks.
There are only 10 types of people in the world:  those who understand binary, and those who don't.

It would be a little inconvenient for a little while but people will survive and adapt.

The world's military's would go into a high state of alert, and everyone would blame each other.  Could possibly create a missile launch.

Well a few more weeks as some said of discomfort as they figure a contingency is available. NOT!  Yes everyone blames everyone else (countries that is), but they would not be able to communicate without satelites. And then if you eliminate the electrical power grids, there goes your land lines, your power period. Then What. OK lets send a letter. Oops, hopefully the Postal Service can figure how to get gas pumped into their vehicles without power, so they can deliver that letter.  hummmmmmmmmmmmm I wonder

There will definitely be no satellite TV for a while until new satellites are working again.

All the important things that would result from this, many which would be potentially threatening to life as we know it, and all you are 'worried' about is not having your TV?! Wow, I am once again amazed at how ignorant this country as a whole has become. What a scary thing. Thankfully we do have people who know what the hell is going on and are able to look beyond their own 'little world'...... :(

We still have plenty of backups with hardline communications.
We have people thinking up doosday scenarios and backups.
And we have people backing those people up.
You really don't think the military would listen to a bunch of limpdick politicians when it comes to safety would you?

People would put their remote/mouse down and start reading books again. They'd also go outside and greet people as they walked by instead of texting and running into people. Atleast I'd hope so...

SPF1000?
One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.

I personally know quite a few people that would totally FREAK if that happened because whenever the satellite connection goes down for a little while and they can't get their lottery tickets printed out when they want them, they get UPSET.  If they couldn't get their lottery tickets at all...it would be a scary thing!!   ;D
