is it ok to have a friendship with your exs family

I feel that if you and your ex left on good terms, then it is alright to continue to be friends with their family. I also feel that it would be great if you remained friends with the ex as well.  It might not have worked out as a serious relationship, but at least you will have a new friend.

I see nothing wrong with being friends with your exs family. In fact I am all for it. I am still friends with my first husbands mom and sister. I left him not them. Why does people feel that a friendship has to end over a seperation. My first husband and I are still friends too.

i would say there is noting wrong with being friends but then when u get someone that u are serious with they might not like it and that can cause problems
