Do you love mac and cheese?

I am old enough that I used to make it from scratch.  Kraft hadn't come out with their boxes.  My kids and grandkids will eat the boxed stuff, but I won't touch it.  The grandkids don't know any better.  I have kind of lost my taste even for the made from scratch stuff.

yes if you dont wanna make it from scratch go to grocery store and get bob evans mac and cheese its the best I ever had

I personally like the homemade but its only made on special occasions so im starting to like the boxed stuff more and more

I love macaroni and cheese. I consider it to be one of the greatest comfort foods around.  The box stuff is okay for the kids..they seem to like it, but I prefer baked and super cheesy.  I have been trying to get it just right for the past 3 years, but no recipe seems to be the one.  Anybody have any good recipes? I try a different one every time I cook it...my family seems to like them but I don't.  Maybe I'm just too picky or overly critical

As long as my kids appreciate a 69 cent box of M & C, I'm a fan.  However, after they grow up and realize what they've been eating (preservatives and more preservatives), then I'll have to show them traditional Italian macaroni and cheese consisting of real fresh pasta, real fresh cheeses and other fresh ingredients, all baked to exactly the right consistency.  I'm getting hungry.

Yes, but my daughter only loves the kind that comes out of a blue box... unnerving when I make "real" mac & cheese...

I love mac and cheese-the original comfort food. Unfortunately my husband does not like it so I do not have it as often as I would like too.

Maybe I have to get creative.

I love Mac and Cheese. My mom made it from scratch and thats the way I love to make it. My kids just love it too. That's our family saturday night movie meal. My son decided on this when he was 5 years old and he is now 15 years old and we still use the tradition.

love mac and cheese... if we have left over ham from dinner some nights, the next day we make mac and cheese, chop up the ham and mix it in with it.  mmmmmm good
