Well darling, I think this is a matter of style. Some men look so hot with that look. Some, not so much. It's kind of a bad boy thing. We love the hot bad boy but we generally marry Dexter as in Poindexter,The guy we can depend on to protect the nest. So the conservative gets the chick. ;) ;) ;)

I don't mind guys with just a small stud, or something conservative. But I think guys with huge holes in their ear lobes are weird.

I saw a man today with more metal than ear. Disgusting! I've also seen men with huge holes where their earlobes should be. Gross!
I saw something even grosser...
A man driving a pick up truck in a NASCAR hat. *gag*

Everyone has opinions.  ;D

Agreed! I'll add to the NASCAR hat and up it with guns that are 'racked' in the back window of the truck so the manly dude can go kill animals and impress all his friends. :P >:(

I don't mind one earring as long as it is a stud and not something gaudy.

I too am a little old fashioned.... I prefer a man to not be accessorized in this manner. My hubby and I own a piercing and tattoo shop, but he doesn't have any piercings and I only have my ears pierced. We have a lot of tattoos tho.  LOL To each their own. I am not one to judge...but glad hubby has no piercings.

I am also an old-fashion girl!  I believe guys should not have piercings.  However, I am not going to look down or judge men that do.  I will judge them by their personality, not by their piercings.  I am also glad my husband doesn't have any piercings.

I personally love men with ear rings (preferably stretched aka: gauges). I think it provides a little accessory to them. I feel more uncomfortable about a man with a necklace than with earrings.
i must agree with you. my boyfriend got his ears gauged and i think it's sexy. it's different than just piercing your ears. it's good to be different IMHO

I hate earrings on men, and I also don't like long hair on men.

It's not a big deal, men have been doing it for years. My son pierced his in the 80's-although he does not wear his earring anymore.

I am not into that!  ::) But, I do have many friends and or people that I work around and with that do have pierced ears, and if it suits them and they are happy with it,  :notworthy: who am I to be against them?  :dontknow:

I think depending on the guy it can look good! Everyone I have ever seriously dated (and my ex husband) had theirs pierced. Like everything else, it's a personal preference.

I think that men with earings, women with ankle bracelets, breast augmentations, botox filled parts, excessive makeup, wildly colored hair, people with tattoos lends a bit of accessibility to that person and puts them in a lower class of society.  I love my biker friends but the tattoos keep them from fitting into a conformist society and limits their ability to work at higher paying jobs.  It is too hard for society to not judge a book by its cover.  Tall people, good looking people not encumbered with the afore-mentioned decorations tend to get better paying jobs requiring higher levels of responsibility.

I think that men should wear earrings if they want to but do it with style. I think that the great big holes in their ear lobs is way over the top and they should tone it down. Earrings are all about style and who that person is

I'm with Mrisha...as long as only one ear is pierced. Two looks like too much of a "woman thing". On men I like only one ear with a small diamond like stud or a very small hoop.   :fish:
