Halloween
« on: October 25, 2011, 09:30:00 am »
So Halloween is coming. Huh, then Thanksgiving, and before you know it Christmas and Happy New Year!
So, thinking ahead, now is the time to start getting those Christmas gifts.  That is why I like FusionCash, to get that little bit of extra money for such events.

But, what are you going to dress up to be for Halloween?

I don't have any plans to dress up for Halloween. I may just grab a bag of candy and watch a spooky movie of some kind. I don't do much for Halloween since I'm nearly 25yrs old now lol. I wish I had the extra money to get a few halloween decorations from work because we have some cool stuff at our store :)

I like the extra spending money idea  ;D I am not a big fan of Halloween.  I do not go all out with the decorations, but I do let my children dress up as long as I approve of the costume and I take them to Fall festivals around the area.  I don't do the door to door thing much unless I know the people and the neighborhood.  I did it when I was a child, so I am not going to take that away from mine.  However, I do set rules, boundaries, and I monitor everything they do.

I'm going as "dead" ;D
Found some great makeup tutorials and lots of ideas, so gonna try one or two out for this year.

Would like to dress a dog up too - I have a fat little chi-mix-thing name "Roxanne" but I'd love to make her up as "Rottensanne the Zombie Dog" :P I'm just not so handy with the arts and crafts. Maybe next year if not this one.

I think even if you don't go out yourself, if you're handing out candy or escorting it only makes sense to add a bit to your appearance too :) Plus, it's fun!

I'll stay home and watch some movie.  It's kind of boring now to go out for trick or treat.  And waiting for some kid to come for candy :)

...non traditional, but my family doesn't celebrate Halloween.  I don't see it as a holiday.  We enjoy fall festivals this time of year, but have never done the costumes or trick and treating deal...Now Christmas....BRING IT ON!     :cat:

My son is dressing as Superman so I'm going to "dress" as Lois Lane. LOL Meaning I'm going to wear business-type clothes and I'll make a press pass for myself. Nothing special! :)

My kids went all minnie and mickey mouse, this is my daughters first walking halloween. We went trick or treating at 4-6, then had a party! We also had corspe bride on for the kids. I made witch finger cookies, gello worms, and a haunted house cake. Next is my husbands birthday on Saturday, then Thanksgivings!
