I have about 30 lbs of baby weight to lose. Anyone out there do anything that worked and worked fast but stayed healthy?

when did you have your baby?
I lost the first 30 very fast (I only gained 28 during pregnancy) and my baby is 6 weeks old --I'm breastfeeding which can help you lose weight quick.
the biggest thing to understand about weight gain -- its never FAST/EASY and you need to decrease the amount of calories in and increase the amount of calories burnt.  You do however need to make sure you are eating enough and make sure you get enough protein to maintain muscle mass.

my son is 8 weeks old. I gained almost 60 lbs with him and dropped the first 30 in the first 2 weeks but am having a very tough time losing the rest. I am breastfeeding, count my calories and exercise at least 30 minutes a day and cant seem to lose anymore.

Part of it could be sleep and stress keeping it on.  I'm guessing with an 8 week old, you may not quite have your "all night" sleep schedule back.  And there is probably some different levels of stress due to the new schedule you are keeping.  There are studies that show that if one doesn't get proper sleep or has increased stress, these can hinder weight loss efforts.  If that may be your case, just re-adjust your expectations, and wait for the weight loss down the road.  I've heard that it's not uncommon to take up to 6 months for the majority of "pregnancy weight" to come off - so you still have time for it to continue to drop, it just may not be as fast as you were hoping.

After 6 months has gone by, if you still are stuck (or just not quite to your target weight desired), then I'd suggest evaluating your exercise routine - maybe add some extra resistance/strength training, maybe add an extra 15 minutes to your 30 minutes, maybe sign up a new activity to learn that will get you moving (dancing, skating, climbing, kickboxing...) - something that would be fun for you to learn but not feel like exercise.

Good luck!

My son is one and I'm still trying to lose the weight, but i did loose about 20 pounds by breastfeeding. I could probably loose more if I exercised regularly, but after work and running around after a 1 yr old I really don't feel like it!

I have had 4, the last two back to back.  I am having a tough time losing it, its been two years.  Although I don't have as much time as I would like to dedicate to working out.

Weight loss is not a fast process. Exercise as approved by a doctor especially if you did not have a natural childbirth and of course eating right.
