How many people think if you have grey hair that's a sign of an experience and mature person?

Older people used to be revered for their experience and wisdom, but modern society seems to think elders are a burden.  Wisdom says that those who have lived a long time have more experiences and knowledge so we should seek their guidance.  However maturity does not always coincide with age.  Some young people can be more mature than some very old people.  My mom once argued that maturity came when you reached 21, got married or left home.  Yea, right.  :bs:

Just having gray hair doesn't make you mature.  There are people who go gray in their teens and those of us who look younger than our calendar age.  An experienced person is one who had gained a lot of life experience whether their hair is gray or not.  Maturity is also not dependent on whether or not your hair is gray, but is a mental state.   :peace:

No that's just a sign of old age or premature aging.

I've known people whose hair has turned grey when they were young.  I think it has a lot to do with genetics.  My granny and mother both have very little grey hair.  I am 50+ and have only found a few grey hairs.  I think we all three have life experience and maturity so....
Have a wonderful day!
