Do you send up a balloon?

My Mom passed on the 17th of Sept, the same date my Grandson was born. every year we send a balloon up to heaven with everyones name on it....do you do that too?

We do not do that in my family but it is great that yours has a tradition like that

My biological mom died in August of last year and after the funeral the family had a picnic and we sent up balloons. I wish I had the transportation to do that this year,but we have really been struggling and we don't have neighbors that are willing to take us to the store.

Aww thats so sad believe you me, if I was your neighbor I would take you to the store, or anywhere else you'd like to go...I love to help people...have you asked your neighbor?

No.  I do remember in elementary school every year we had a balloon ascension but that was to raise money for charity.  If I remember correctly we paid a certain amount to wrote our names on a piece of paper attached to the balloon.  I forgot what charity it was for.

i use to let go of a balloon on my bday when i was kid and watch it fly away
