No. But you will have to see a doctor.

I'm glad you had your doc take a look and I 'assume' you were told they were harmless since you are not freaking out? Almost everyone over the age of 40 or so will have these and we literally call them 'cherry angiomas'. They are nothing but the clustering of tiny capillaries (blood vessels) and are harmless. If by chance the spots appear raised, then it could indicate a more serious condition, but not always. Again, I am very happy you had them looked at. Anything that suddenly 'appears' on our bodies is worth getting checked. :)

Jordan I have had maybe 1 or 2 raised ones and I picked them, I know gross...he also mentioned it could be something to do with the liver. but like you said many over 40 get them and he too said nothing serious...thanks

Believe me, after almost 30 years in medicine there is virtually nothing that grosses me out anymore! ;D Oh the stories I could tell, lol. Add to that the fact humans are almost programmed to 'pick at' odd things we find, even when we [probably] should know better - let's just say you don't seem any different to me than anyone else! ;)

Whew thanks Jordan, so i'm normal lol....years ago I worked in a hospital in the cafe (short order cook) well across from me there was the sandwhich area. this Dr came in like he did every day and bought a sandwhich. well this 1 day he bought his sandwhich and  he came back to tell the girl who made it that he was in the bathroom throwing up because there was a hair in his sandwhich...I found that kind of funny simply because, here is a Dr that can stomach blood and what ever else, but a hair turned his stomach...
