lol...I didn't even realize that until you posted. ;D  I  animals and don't enjoy seeing them suffer when it could have been prevented.  So of course my "pet peeves" actually involve pets...funny! :cat: :dog:

Strangely enough, I have a friend who named her cat, "Peeve" with a full awareness of the entendre.  I also have an aquaintance on PETA's board who feels as strongly as you do.  She happens to be what's considered a 'satanist', (a federally-recognised religion), so such convictions can cross belief system lines.
One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.

I  pause the TV when my husband wants to speak to me to give him my undivided attention.  Then he says he is done and that he will leave me to continue watching tv.  I unpause the the tv and he starts talking to me from the office. :BangHead:

Yeah i do find that strange...that you have a friend.

At least she's not imaginary, like your delusion of a supernatural egregore, (no evidence of existence).

My biggest pet peeve is ignorance.

That's one of the main reasons why I oppose religions.

Not my BIGGEST pet peeve, but it's up there:

People who start a thread (on ANY forum), and ask a question, or ask for help, but then don't bother to return to the thread to get any of the answers or help that has been given in response.

How come it won't play?

Yes, that would definitely be them!
I take it you've come across such people before...?
(I would be willing to bet that you didn't come across them reading the FAQ, or TOS, or watching tutorials, etc.)

Alaric...TY for your in depth answer on your military experience.

As i told you earlier the closest i got was passing my army physical and times around 1970 were anti-war etc.But i have to admit i took same stance on it and still do today what Muhammend Ali said,"i have nothing against N.Vietnamese people.

And please forgive me for any typos......I coulda said Cassius Clay...LOL!!

Although there are some questions not answered by the FAQ/TOS/tutorials, most 'silver-platterers' don't even both looking at those before asking.

Such convictions can/do cross belief system lines perhaps because pets were made for everybody.  Dogs and cats have no preference to their owners beliefs or lack thereof, they don't differentiate, they are 'wired' to love everybody.  They may be 'just a dog or cat' but they can teach people ALOT about how to treat others.  :peace:
