Do you use flannel sheets?
« on: October 01, 2011, 09:57:44 am »
If you put them on your bed in the winter, when do you put them on and when do you take them off?  I live in Minnesota and haven't put mine on yet as we are still having some nice days.  I imagine it won't be too long before I do so.  One year I used them all year round.  My bed gets really cold when the air is on and the sheets were nice and cozy.

I think they are more comfortable than cotton and satin sheets.  I have used them year round.

I love flannel sheets, especially in the winter.  They keep me warmer and are more comfortable than regular cotton sheets.  I would like to use them all year but I would get too hot any other time of year.

I use them when fall starts so that we don't have to use heaters in the night when it starts cooling down.  But diffently use them in the winter they are so much warmer than regular sheets.  I do notice that lint sticks to them worse than regular sheets. I don't think it matters when you use them just what ever you are comfortable with.

i put em on when the cold weather starts coming. i only have two sheet sets, one flannel and the other cotton. so if my flannel needs to be washed, unfortunately i have to sleep on cold sheets.

Yes, I use my flannel sheets all winter.  It beats getting in a cold bed on regular sheets.  Plus they feel so comfortable when its cold outside.

Sometimes I use them. I like them a lot because they help my body warm up quicker and retain the warmth longer when I have to get out of bed. I usually use them when it starts getting cold out and then switch back once the weather has started to warm up.

They're wonderful in the winter. BigLots occasionally has some good quality ones that are very inexpensive.

I use them whenever it gets cold; I need to put them on within the next few days, actually.  It's gotten rather cold recently.

I tried them once when I lived in upstate New York. My sister in law gave them to me. I don't need them down here in Florida. My afghan keeps me warm when it gets cold.

I don't use flannel sheets. Are they more warmer than cotton sateen sheets which I like?
My dogs warm up our bed so by the time I go to bed it's nice and warm even winter time. So I guess I'm ok with the sheets we are using right now.
