Not Being Credited?
« on: September 20, 2007, 12:21:39 pm »
For some reason none of the offers ive done today are being credited. i read in the crediting faq and did what it told me there, cleared everything with that ccleaner and i turned off my pop up blocker and firewall. I have anti spyware with my internet security thing i have with verizon. Is anyone else having issues with this today?

I had this problem about a week ago...  I just didn't go to the site for 4 days (busy), then I cleared my cookies on the 5th day, and yesterday I got on and decided to try again and got 5 or 6 offers to complete out of the 7 or 8 I did...  Maybe it was a fluke, I don't know, but I felt like I was on a roll yesterday.

Yeah, it sure is frustrating to find that you spend soooooooooo much time filling out all those offers only to find that VERY few of them credit. I feel like this  :BangHead: when Im on this site.

When you clear your cookies, make sure to exit out of IE and restart it...  If you're really paranoid, restart your pc and then go from there.  Seems to be an almost fool proof plan.  Don't forget the alternate emails either, I just set my 4th one up earlier today.

I have had the problem since signing up.. I have more offers that say can not maually credit then I have ones that have completed. I have completed them - but if I understand the info correctly I cant request to be paid for them beucase they are under $7 - that really doesnt seem fair to me.. ugh spending all that time doing surveys - for them not to credit - maybe they will credit later.

I'm having the same problems.  I have AOL and I don't want to disable all of my security features.  It seems to me that there should have been a disclaimer about this so people know ahead of time.  The companies are getting our information for free and we are getting nothing in return.

You agreed that you'd read the Terms of Service, which requires that you read the offer crediting info page.

:BangHead:  Im having the same problem with many of the offers not crediting.  Its very
frustrating.  Ive read through alot of what other people are saying and so far nothing is
helping me get past this on going problem.  Especially with the offers where you only get
paid 0.75 or 0.50 to complete certain surveys.  Im having problems with numerous surveys
that are low paying.

Help me Please!!

Well even if the TOS did say they might not credit(which I did read and understand from the begining) - and we did do everything we could to make sure they credited---It still seems unfair that if the offers are below $7 we cant ask for payment. I know that its not something that probably can be helped but I totally agree with stats comment - "the companies are getting our information for free and we get nothing in return". There has to be a way Fusion Cash can start working on this problem so that it will not be so prevalent in the future. I have $15.50 sitting there that I can not be credited for. But I certianly am hearing from those companies left and right so they got what they wanted. I am not trying to complain- but its obvious that there is a problem that Fusion Cash may need to look at and see if there is anyway that in the future they can come up with a better way to do things so this doesnt happen as often. Just a suggestion for those higher ups. :)

BY THE WAY - several of the offers that I looked at triggered my virus/spyware .... hmmm maybe that should be checked into as well.  ;) Has anyone else had this problem? I just closed the pages immediately - ran scans and removed what was there, hopefully getting it all..... seems a shame, but expected I guess.

see you around the forums/offer pages!

I completely agree. I have tried clearing out cookies, changing email addresses, switching browsers, turning off protection (which is putting my pc at risk since some of those sites are full of spyware and viruses--you're not the only one who noticed that Kat), I'm not a pc newbie so I know I've done everything right...and I've only gotten credited for 1/3 of the offers I've completed...yet my inbox is getting full of spam emails from all of those companies who are not crediting. It definitely doesnt seem fair at all to us fusion cash members, they're getting all of our info, using it, then refusing to credit us.
Would you guys (FC staff) be willing to look into this issue? I don't think it would be difficult to establish a pattern of some of them not crediting your members so you could stop advertising their offers. We could forward you our account/registration confirmation emails or something  ???

edit: turns out downloading the browser Opera and using that instead has led to more successful results :)
