I have come to the conclusion that no survey site is what it claims - to want to know your opinions.  They are all in the business of advertising, even this site.  I presently am active in more than a dozen, and to finish a survey is a "once in a blue moon" event.  If I were not retired, I would not waste my time on them.  The only reason I do is that I can eventually get enough on a few of the sites to cash out and make a few bucks.  I do not buy things from the sites, so it takes a rather long time to get reach the cashout point.  FC is one of my favorite sites because it does have the Forum, which I enjoy, and the 15 cent click-through.  The bottom line is that, in my opinion, the sites do not want you opinions, they want to advertise for their sponsors.

surveys are no good at all!

I wouldn't use that blanket statement... This last cashout, I needed to get $5 in about 15-days to meet the $25 threshold before some of my offers expired. I was able to do this by completing different surveys. Although surveys tend to take a lot of time in order to qualify, they still do allow you to get some extra offers completed if need be.

@loulizlee: In a way I agree... Some surveys I've taken do tend to feel more like an advertisement rather than getting true public opinion. The qualifying questions feel like a hunt for potential customers instead of just getting a broad opinion from the general public. But not every survey nor every survey-site acts like that. Pinecone research seems more like a true survey site interested in your opinion. I've had a few surveys from them where I flat out stated I disliked the product and that I would never purchase that item. Yet they continued on with the survey and gave me credit instead of claiming I didn't fit the demographic. The worst sites are those that claim they are a survey site, but they ask one question (Which has better burgers? McDonalds or Burger King) and then you have to sign-up for different offers etc. in order to claim your prize (the small print usually says something like you need to complete 5 bronze offers, 3 silver offers, and 1 gold offer to get the $500 Best Buy Gift Card). Those have nothing to do with surveys and are only in it to get you to complete a bunch of offers from their sponsors, including a few pay-to-try offers.

As to the OP, I've noticed the same thing; in my last-minute rush I was able to get credited from most of the other sites, but not SurveyHead. Oh, well. At least they come right out and say that as soon as I click on that site instead of going through a bunch of pre-qualifying questions before getting dismissed.

To lvsStephanie:   Pinecone Research is one I have not heard of.  I will have to check them out.  I agree about the "surveys"  like "Which is better - BLANK OR BLANK?  They almost always require you to accept at least two or three "offers."  But what I had in mind at the time I wrote my post was that almost all the survey sites offer bonus money or points when you purchase something.  To me, unless you really want the product to begin with, you are not really making any money.  And I do admit I have completed a few surveys, but they are very few and very far between.  And I wish they would state in the beginning if the survey has received its quota without wasting time filling out the same information over and over again.

I haven't had trouble qualifying for Surveyhead (of course some days I don't, but them's the breaks.)  Not sure why it's being difficult for you, but they are quirky at times.

Geeting qualified is a pain sure but most who say they don't are just lazy and give up. I being one of them from time to time cause it is frustrating but if you stick with it you'll get paid.

I used to qualify for surveyhead once in a while, but it has been a long time since I have been able to qualify for one.

I'm a member of this  survey site called OpinionPlace.com and they never have me doing offers, just only surveys! This site pays by PayPal or Amazon gift cards and there is no minimum cash out! You will get paid within a couple weeks or less in your Paypal Account or they will send you Amazon gift codes of what ever ever amount you were told you were going to get before you took the survey to your email after you complete a survey and you do not have to request a cash out! This is one of my favorite sites! Hope this helpful!

I end up getting frustrated so much and it is not worth the money, they either going to pay your for doing it or not, they shouldn't kick you out, once you are in the middle, say no up front, after a page or 2 not 10, this is just wrong.
