that show is also awesome! i love the fact that people come in with antiques that they dont know is worth a fortune when they only want a 100$ or so. i love the reactions on how much their things are really worth.

I like the show too.  I like to believe it is entirely genuine and for the most part it feels that way, but because it is so enjoyable it tends to trigger my innate cynicism.  There are a lot of shows on that are only 'sort of real' and some of them of course are entirely scripted (but overtly obvious).
There are only 10 types of people in the world:  those who understand binary, and those who don't.

I should start watching it again. I really got into it last year but I haven't seen it in a while. One woman brought in this Alice in Wonderland book with paintings done by Salvador Dali that I REALLY liked.

One of my favorite shows on TV, I think that they have a winner with that show.  I like the different things that they buy and the unique attitudes of the staff. :angel11:

My husband loves the show, I watch with him its ok with me I get it to it when he watches it.  I Find it interesting at times and some of the items are worth a lot more than I thought it makes me wonder if we have anything worth any money I sure could use it to get my teeth pulled.  I have been feeling ill and in pain for about a week and the last few days I have not even been on the computer since thrusday.

I absolutly love this show. My boyfriend started watching it and I didn't pay much attention because I usually don't like those types of shows that he watches. But I started watching it with him one night, and I've been hooked ever since. I love it that it is so real and unpredictable. It's not like some shows like that, that are pretty much the same idea every time. You never know who is going to come in next with what or what you are going to see. And I love that they have experts on so many different things and buy such a big variety of things. In our spare time, we have been stopping by some yard sales and auctions and buying cheap stuff that looks like there's a chance it could be worth something. We've had some good finds a few times. I also like Storage Wars. That show makes me laugh. The people and the way they get each other going is so funny.
