From FC's FAQ page:

We disburse payment on or before the 20th of the month after you cashout. That is, if you cashout any time this month, your payment will be disbursed on or around September 20th. You must allow 1-5 business days for electronic payment methods to post

I usually get mine around the 20th of the following month from which I requested payment. It's active right as soon as it shows up in your account.

I have always cashed out via PayPal. It is fast and is always available by the day it is promised. I use PayPal to purchase office supplies so it's as good as a check or direct deposit for me.
