Do you think it's possible?!
« on: August 29, 2011, 06:06:41 pm »
Do you think it's possible that someone has been living in his/her own world and in his/her own world, he/she doesn't do anything wrong and it's always someone else's fault!!
Have you know any in your life?!

I know a few people like that actually.  I guess it is a form of narcissism and perhaps could be the definition of such if I understand what you are meaning.
There are only 10 types of people in the world:  those who understand binary, and those who don't.

I actually know an old lady who keep blaming at everyone around her on what she does wrong even though she is the one does all those.
I think she is insane.

LOL  Good one!!  :notworthy:

There are people that deceive themselves thinking they are okay when in reality they are headed the wrong way. The Bible talks about a man going in a path that seems right in his own eyes, but leads to destruction. Sometimes people want to be deceived, because to have their eyes opened would mean to face their own faults and change. They don't want to change, but keep thinking it's someone else's fault. It's called delusional.

The irony of that statement is far too obvious to further comment upon.
One can lead a horse to water however, if one holds the horse's head under, that horse will drown.

I've met a few people like that, and it's sad they can't own up to reality.  Then there's the related group - the parents who can't believe "their" kid did anything wrong.  I think this type of behavior does more harm to a person than good, as one never learns how to take ownership and responsibility for errors/failures.  Often it's the lessons learned during mistakes/errors/failures that make us stronger and wiser.

Oh yeah, I encounter people like that everyday. Customers who call my job. Talking about, it's your fault that I'm late to work. In my mind I'm saying to myself oh really, well how come I made it in on time? The question that has irked me over the weekend was. When will transportation be up and running again? I feel like telling them, well when mother nature decides to take the water she dumped on us right back. Hello, a freaking hurricane just came to our area. Are you not aware of your surroundings? Obviously not, since you're asking the dumbest question in history.
