What is limit of kids a single parent should have?

I think single parent should have 1 child .. until marriage .

Honestly I think 1 child is enough. There are so many children out there for adoption, if you want more adopt! Trying to get my son's father to understand that as he too was adopted - pay it forward!

As many as they can afford and take care of properly.

I think that they should have as many as they can handle with understanding and loving.  I know plenty of couples that shouldn't have any children because they are self-centered and can't handle themselves or their relationship.  I think that placing a limit on how many children a capable person can have is somewhat shallow.  I never wanted to be married...I just wanted to make a difference in a child's life because I have a lot to offer.  I was lucky enough to find someone who is a good partner in helping to raise the children.

There isn't a number, some people can't even handle a single child by themselves, while other can handle many.

I think the limit for ME is one. I divorced when my daughter was two, and even when I was married she was a handful. She is now almost 6 and STILL a handful. Cannot imagine more than one.
