dont buy digital cameras from ebay

why well because they might be in the box in opened but their warranty does not apply to u when u buy from unauthorized sellers like ebay. i learned this the hard way. i got mine brand new and in box and now im having problems with it and it hasnt been a year yet. i contacted polariod and they said they couldnt help me.

Well, unfortunately that is a lesson learned the hard way. If you buy from an auction, they can't guarantee it's condition. I worked for tech support for a company and people would buy printers from an outside company, but we couldn't provide support because we have no way of knowing it's condition when it was purchased or if it was tampered with or anything. Sorry to hear about what happened, but buy from a retail store when it's on sale next time and you'll be fine.

Btw, I wouldn't recommend Polaroid digital cameras, they are notorious for having problems anyway. 

Nikon is the way to go.

i never had a problem with my first one but i wanted a new shell for it coz it was beat up to hell and the lcd lense connection got broken so..i bought a new one and i wanted to sell that one coz i didnt like how slow it was and then i was having trouble taking pics so i dont know what to do. i dont have the money to buy another one so i guess i will try and make due with this one i currently have that is having problems.

also i only paid forty seven dollars for it altogether so it wasnt that bad and i have gotten alot of use out of it since i bought it.

sorry to hear about bad adventures....i'm always skeptical about buying expensive items online.....other stuff, yes, but it can get risky....same with things like Craigslist.

i am a seller on ebay and i stand behind what i sell. it is other sellers u have to watch out for. they might send u the wrong thing and then u have to send it back and pay even more. stupid people dont pay attention to their orders.

I hate to break the news, but Ebay doesn't sell ANYTHING, they are just a service to provide advertising. You could get burned by one seller and do just great with another one. That's why they have feedback.

I bought a Nikon about a month ago, it was used, and havn't had any problem's with it. You alway's take a chance when you order thing's, even if it's brand new.

I bought my first digital camera of my own (SONY) through Amazon.com. It works very well. While ebay is great for picking up nice deals, I try not to buy too often from that site. Amazon usually has set prices and you do not need to bid for products. I find that Amazon provides me with the assurance that ebay just does not.

I am an avid ebayer. I sell stuff all of the time on there new in box, and don't offer a warrenty. It seems to be fine because the manufacturer will usually fix any problems, but none of my customers usually report back with problems, so maybe I am just lucky. I will though, if any problem does arise, try to help the customer resolve it.

i use ebay for buying alot for stuff here and there. i like it but it does take time to transfer the money u get from selling something into ur bank account from ur paypal account which sucks.
