1 Thessalonians 5:18
King James Version (KJV)
18" In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you."

1 Thessalonians 5:18

New International Version (NIV)
18 "give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus."

We should be thankful in every type of happening or circumstance, in adversity as well as prosperity.  Things may get rough or may improve, but things could always turn out much worse.  We are never alone, even when we feel alone - God is with us, through the Holy Spirit, His comforter, until Jesus, Himself, returns.  :)

James 1:12

Blind faith remains a belief held despite a total lack of evidence.

Proverbs 7:5

Exodus 23:4 (NIV)
So you honestly believe this is a valid and mature "dissenting opinion?" What's so valid about this trolling type picture of someone hitting someone over the head with the Bible?  Did you even consider that at one point, some people who chose to accept Christ, felt they had been hit over the head (before accepting Christ) with the Bible (God's Word) in the attempt for God trying to get their attention?

Another way to look at your picture you so love to post over and over and over again, is that being hit over the head (figuratively speaking) with God's Word, could in actuality, be the trials believers go through, and when feeling beat down by the trials, God reminds them that the trials can be defeated or better handled, when relying on Him and on His Word - and yes, it would seem God is "hitting" them on the head (their brain) to remind them He is there and will comfort, help, and guide.  So, in essence, your picture really doesn't have the effect you like to pretend it has.  Nice try, though...

Not a total lack of evidence; only seen that way by your views and opinions.  You are blinded to any evidence because of your loathing of anything God-related.  Thanks for your repetitive opinion and thoughts, though.

Not a total lack of evidence; only seen that way by your views and opinions.

My views and "opinions" are based upon reason and logic, not the irrationality and illogic if superstitious religious beliefs.  If evidence is available, why hasn't it been presented after all this time?  Bearing in mind that religious hearsay, (the variations of "bibles"), does not constitute valid evidence - not because I say it doesn't - but, because "it's written down, so it must be true because I believe it's true" is circular and illogical.

You are blinded to any evidence because ...

There isn't any.  Precisely what evidence supports any of these religious contentions, (non-biblical, since that is non-evidentiary)?

Thanks for your repetitive opinion and thoughts, though.

The hypocrisy inherent in your repetitive religious opinion and non-original thought is duly noted as just as "rude" and "discourteous" as you contend my dissenting remarks have been.  That's the other side of the "golden rule" coin, I suppose.

Nice try at a diversionary misrepresentation on your part.  The image is intended to convey you bible thumpers repeatedly thumping with "verses".  If that's too subtle for you, too bad.

Your blind faith-based religious beliefs are not relevant to me other than to indicate that they are pretentious, specious and self-deluding.

Not if there isn't one and without evidence, that's what it looks like from a rational perspective.
