Mathew 7:1 7:2 "Judge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgement you judge, you will be judged; and with the same measure you use, it will be measured back to you.

Why cant people let it be and just let some us be who we want to be and if we want quote bible verses then so be it. If you choose to not believe in what other believe then so be it. I have no problem with others beliefs. To each its own. God loves everyone I believe and nothings gonna change that. Peace be with you.

No one's stopping others from requoting 'bible verses' over & over again, just as no one is stopping others from posting dissenting/opposing viewpoints.  Why do the 'thumpers want to have it one way, (their way, unopposed)?

"If we go back to the beginning we shall find that ignorance and fear created the g-ds; that fancy, enthusiasm, or deceit adorned or disfigured them; that weakness worships them; that credulity preserves them, and that custom, respect and tyranny support them in order to make the blindness of men serve its own interests."

I never said anything about your "recyclings".....it's to be expected.  ;D

Sometimes recycling is a good idea, others times - not so much.

I agree with your statement, however I think we would have differing viewpoints on that as well, aye???  ;D

Doubtless we're applying the concept in opposite ways however, I'm also applying it as a meta-concept.

Great verse for all of us!  There are many in here who just go into threads that they enjoy.  However, there are always a couple who can't offer the same respect and instead, choose to mock and criticize others for their things they enjoy.  It didn't used to be like this and there was more peace in here because there weren't deliberate attempts to stir up trouble.  It is as it is, and it's a rotten shame that it continues right on.

However, there are always a couple who can't offer the same respect and instead, choose to ...

... To oppose the blind-faith superstitious religious beliefs which are offensive to some non-believers.  Why should irrationality deserve "respect"?

It didn't used to be like this and there was more peace in here because there weren't deliberate attempts to stir up trouble.
It is as it is, and it's a rotten shame that it continues right on.

There never was a free pass for unopposed religious proselytization.  Those who choose to proselytize still do so and those who choose to oppose it still do so.  What you keep whining incessantly about is illumination dissent provides regarding blind superstitious religious beliefs.

It looks more like an unattributed 'inspirational quote' than a 'biblical' one.

“Nothing can stop the man with the right mental attitude; nothing on earth can help the man with the wrong mental attitude.”

Hi, 'Shadow of Sheryl's'.  Although I couldn't find any correlative biblical reference, it may be that the OP wanted to contribute an "inspirational quote" in much the same way as my counter-quotes are non-biblical.

“The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.”
-– Nelson Mandela
