John 3:16 is my favorite verse because it reminds me that Jesus suffered so we could have redemption.
Yes, God so loved the world that he gave his only Son that whoever believes in him may not die but may have eternal life.
Another is  Romans 8:38-39
For I am certain that neither death nor life, neither angels nor principalities neither the present nor the future, nor the powers, neither height nor depth nor any other creature, will be able to separate us from the love of God that comes to us in Christ Jesus, our Lord

Revelation 3:14-16

It's important to stay on fire for God every day.People that are "cold" to God can be made useful to Him (like the Apostle Paul,for example) for He has that power.But,the worst thing in God's sight is to be "lukewarm"-going through the motions and not taking time to truly appreciate what He's done for us.He's commanded us to let our light shine in this dark world.Don't hold back!Let everyone know that Jesus is Lord to the glory of God the Father. :notworthy:
Your scripture reminded me that being lukewarm is straddling the fence, a little on Gods side and a little on the side of the devil.  If we really want to serve our God we need to choose his side to be on and quit straddling the fence.
