I cashout as soon as i have the minimum. It takes about a month for the money to credit to my paypal account from the time I cashout. If you want more info on the timing for payment there are many threads available on this topic. Hope that helps.

Here are the details from the FAQs:

I've cashed out. How long until I get my money?
We disburse payment on or before the 20th of the month after you cashout. That is, if you cashout any time this month, your payment will be disbursed on or around September 20th. You must allow 1-5 business days for electronic payment methods to post, and 2-10 business days for check delivery via USPS First Class Mail.
How much money do I need in my account in order to cash out?
The minimum balance for cashing out is $25. At least $15 of your balance must come from completed offers.

True, but you have to wait longer and go to the bank to deposit or cash your check. I opted for the check option the first month, then opened up a new personal checking account just for FC and other GPT sites I am working and switched to Direct Deposit. Most members use PayPal or Direct Deposit because it is faster and safe. I've never heard of a member having a security issue by giving out their banking info to FC. This is a legit site with a BBB rating of A and they've been in business since 2005. They have a good track record and I don't think you have to worry, but the choice of payment is completely up to you. Welcome!

you would get your money Sept. 20. To get it this month, you needed to cash out by July 31. No matter when you cash out during the month, you get paid the 20th of the following month.

I am using paypal and it works great, my cashouts are always there by the 20th.

Yeah, I won't be getting my check until 15 days from now, direct deposit. I look forward to it. If it comes through, then I will personally use this site as my extra money maker.
