Itchy hands

There's an old saying that says whenever your hand starts to itch, money is coming your way. This rings true for me, how about you?

Every time payday rolls around my right hand starts to itch a few days before payday.

My mother-in-law always says "If your palm itches do not scratch it or you throw your luck out the window."  Maybe that's been my problem, I can't resist scratching it.

I've always heard if your right hand itches you will receive money; however if your left hand itches you will pay out money!  I guess it depends on which hand itches the most?

Now, I heard it the other way around. It works for me, but it isn't usually very much.
