I live in Middle Tennesssee. It is so hot here you can hardly breath. How is it in other parts of country?

I'm in South Carolina. This is the time of year, I always consider moving away! It's muggy and hot right now with thunderstorms that are always cutting off our electricity so that we have to suffer even more in the heat. But, to be honest, this is the worst part of the year and I really wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
