what is the best time for kids to go to bed

i have a hard time getting my kids to sleep what time do most kids go to bed

It depends on how old your children are.  My mom always made me go to be at 8pm when I was in elementry school, than 9pm when I was in middle school.  When I hit high school I pretty much got to go to bed when I wanted as long as I got up for school.  I hope this helps!

My daughter is just going into middle school this year so she will be able to stay up til about during the school week. Weekends and summer vacation? 10/11pm depending on what's going on the next day or if it's a sleep over. Sleep overs generally is a contest to see who can stay awake the longest. Usually 3am.

Hi i have 18,8,5,3,3 18goes to bed at 10pm or a sleep by then.8,5,they go down at 9:30pm.  Twins down at 8:30pm the one twin will fight to stay up longer. I have a friend she has a 2 year old and she goes to bed at 8pm and stays in her room and never comes out utill morning time i wish my kids will go tobed like that....

My 7 year old goes to bed at 8:30, my 5 and 3 year old go to bed at 8.  They get up at 7:15 for school.  I don't believe in different sleep schedules for the weekend.  The human body does not have a schedule for weekdays and a different one for weekends.

Weekends there is no set time. My 9yo going to 5th grade for school she goes to bed at 8pm and my 16yo going to 11th grade during school he's supposed to be in bed by 9pm. Some of the weekdays this doesn't work. Twice a week the 9yo has soccer practice from 6-7:30pm & the 16yo has soccer practice from 7:30-9:00pm. They both get up by 6am for school and I encourage the 9yo to do her HW in aftercare especially the days she has soccer.

 :thumbsup:I have a 14,10,9yr old and when they were little like 1 to 8yrs old they were on a time schedule of 8:30pm during the week and 10pm on weekends if they can last. Now that my kids are up some age my 14yr gose to bed during the school week around 10-10:30pm and on weekends its up to him my 10,9yr during school week 9pm and on weekends it up to them the only time they go to bed early on weekends is if they have games basketball,football the next day going to bed at a reasonable time for kids ages new born to 9 is very important because if not there very crakey the next day lol.

I put my daughter to sleep at 10pm. I have no problem with her in the morning. And she is always very energetic during the day.
