Switching Browsers..
« on: July 07, 2011, 11:54:28 pm »
Can anyone help me? I just switched from IE to Google Chrome because a lot of the things I do online won't load on my IE anymore. I am trying to figure out how to get my toolbars and stuff from IE onto Google. Do I have to download them all again or is there a way to switch them over since they are already downloaded on my computer?

There are toolbars when initializing the installation that may detect multiple browsers and ask if you want to install on more than one, but oftentimes I find myself needing to do them separately (as with many other add-ins or plugins such as Flash). If your transitioning to a separate browser you would likewise need to install a compatible toolbar for your newly desired browser.

I use firefox myself. I've heard that Google wants to come out with a new computer that takes practically no time to load because everything is online or something to that effect. If that's the way of the computer in the future, sounds like Chrome would be a good way to go! I can't wait to see what it will be like and if it is successful.

You can find me on Youtube!
