i was in shock!but now i think is very good idea to put some money only for that
& start shopping!

It's good to start early. You can find some good sales to get items for stocking stuffers!!!

I am starting my christmas gift ideas and shopping early too this year. I want to get a head start on it early so I can get it done.

We usually don't start until early fall. But, it's good you get started much earlier.

I use to have all my shopping done by nov.1 for everyone, then you can enjoy the season more.

         It is an excellent idea to start looking for bargains now! Prices are usually higher around Christmas time because many companies expect extra profits that time of the year.

Had the same idea. Opened a new saving account in March strictly for Christmas and are transferring so much a month from checking into that saving acct for Xmas. Also made a spreadsheet for everyone on Xmas list for ideas or gifts bought for birthdays and Xmas. If I find something just right for someone on the list, I buy it and hide it! No last minute shopping and money crunch during the holidays this year! Am determined that this Christmas will be better than last year's in spite of the economy! Only buying what is affordable, but not skipping anyone either!

I am planning on starting my Chistmas shopping early as well and I am hoping to use my FC earnings to purchase these gifts. This has worked out extremely well in the past for a last minute birthday gift or shower gift.  It has been nice having a little bit extra money each month and sharing it brings happiness to my friends, family, and loved ones too.

I think it's a great idea to shop early or even year round for Christmas if thats what you enjoy.  I usually start thinking about gift ideas around September.  However, I don't want Christmas pushed on me through advertisements or even decorations until after Thanksgiving.

I feel you!  So am I, time is going by so fast that it is scary.  I started planning on what to buy by grandkids and decided on what to get.  I guess some think we are nuts.

I've been thinking about Christmas the past few days, trying to figure out what to get family and my boyfriend...not sure yet but I'm sure I'll figure it out
