I remember back in the day when?

I remember when you could let your kid's play outside not worry some one would try to pick them up.

I remember my parents setting up a video camera to tape a show on TV (antenna only channels) to watch later (no dvr or recording feature on the vcr). I remember waiting for a song to come on the radio so I could record it on a cassette. I remember when cartoons were only on Saturday mornings. I remember researching for a paper in the library and writing it by hand. I remember not knowing who is calling before answering the phone. I remember having a large satellite dish that you had to manually put in coordinates to see the channel and had to play with it for hours just to find one or two  channels.

I know I'm not an old timer but a lot still has changed even from then. I'm only 26.

I can remember when they had penny candy store on the corner of my block for .50 cent you can get a lot not now a days things are to high.

You can go to the corner store and buy a brown bag full of snacks for 1 buck.

yes i remember that they still do that in chicago where you and even have cheese on it

omg so many BUT I remember going to the store and buying penny candy, 8 tracks, actually having to go to my friends house and ring their bell, riding a bike without a helmet, drinking out of a hose and the list goes on....oooooh bring back the good ole days
