It is so nice to see a positive post.  We all have burdens and it is sometimes easier to bear when you can share through the soul.  My husband and I both have chronic illnesses.  He has had six back surgeries including a spinal fusion.  He has no control of his left foot due to the damaged spine and has to wear a brace to walk.  He had a heart attack on his 50th birthday and has had a stint put in.  He is on numerous medications.  His hearing is about gone due to working around power tools in the cabinet shop without ear protection.  He has been on SS disability for the past 10 years.  Needless-to-say, he is also being treated for depression.

I have my share of health issues ~ optic neuritis behind my left eye presumably caused by the onset of MS, a brain aneurysm behind my right eye that was found when trying to diagnose the optic neuritis.  I have had four surgeries to stint & coil the aneurysm in the past three years.  I have severe allergies, anxiety, high blood pressure and high colesterol for which I take medication.  I have had to quit taking my allergy shots because I can't afford them any more.  I also have to take medication at night so my brain will shut down for a while to rest.

I lost my good paying and benefits job in March.  My health insurance expires Thursday (30th).  I have been looking for insurance coverage for us but the whole process has my head swimming.  The cost is unbelievable.  I have taken a position that pays a little more than I was drawing on unemployment but it doesn't have any benefits.  So, I'm still on the job search.

Thank you for your listening ear.  Please pray for us.  I have faith the Lord will take care of us.

Have a wonderful day!

I have found my best support in my faith community. Also, I have found that if I try to lift the spirits of someone else it helps my spirit too. :)

It is great to have support from people when you are suffering from Chronic Illness,  thank you for thinking of this.    I live with multiple illnesses and have also lost my job.  My biggest fear is what if..... Until I find a job.  I have been out of work 2 months.  My Insurance was gone 3 weeks after I got laid off.
