LOL you are kidding right? It's a buffet of slop. It's a human troth for gluttonous people most of whom are obese. You have low standards for fine dining my friend.

I.... don't like Hometown Buffet. Not one bit. The food is artificial and leaves a lot to be desired. Sure it's an all you can eat... but why would you stuff yourself full with that crap?! I went there twice and never will go back.

We don't have a Hometown Buffet in Corpus Christi, Texas, never heard of it. What we have is a Golden Corral Buffet. Many selections to choose from, the NEW Golden Corral has been improved dramatically. Daily fresh Food, Salads, Pastry, and if you have a sweet tooth,, - they even have a chocolate fountain and cotton candy.... yum yum funnel donuts with cinnamon sugar too.  ohhhh if you don't like fats or u are vegetarian, they have the best salad bar too ! ;)

I would have to say that we used to go there more than we do now.  It used to be a great place for us to go to when we were in a rush and didn't want to wait.  But needed to get something to eat that was not only fast food.  With the salad bar and some of the other items made it a little easier with the different taste and needs in the family.   But I will say that mostly we look for other places now because the food is not that great and it is getting more costly.

We used to do breakfast every Saturday & Sunday but they started raising their prices & we cut back to just every Saturday.  They kept raising prices & now we're down to once a month.  I miss it but just can't afford to pay as much for breakfast as dinner and that's about where it is now.

There's a bbq restaraunt here that has the best buffet on earth. For ten bucks you get everything. Not some cheapo low cost version of good food either but yummy fill yourself till you explode food.

Yeah before it more stuff.... now they put more "crappy stuff and cost you more ... and plus they cost you more for your drink.... for your buffet... I don't get it how you cost extra for your drink in your buffet... I think not making sense.  But oh well.... each place it different I guest.

At least the food is better than Souplantation, YUCK!  The food depends on the restaurant you go to.  There's one in Anaheim, that has the best quality.  The others aren't as good.  Hometown Buffet is a GREAT place for families and individuals.  At least they give kids drinks for free, no other buffet does that.
